Copper Butterflies MATtrohcan

Large, semi-double blooms. 15 petals surround the yellow base in the centre that houses the prominent stamens and pistils that invite the bees.

The upper surface of the petals is of a most unusual deep orange, terracotta brown colour with a pleasing deep cream on their (reverse) underside. The blooms appear in clusters of about 5 blooms on arching canes all season long.

Lovely briar apple fragrance.

It is suitable as a free-standing shrub or espaliered on walls, pillars or fences. It is super versatile, easy to care for and great for picking and floral work.

Bred in New Zealand by Bob Matthews.
