Since 1921 the Deutscher Frauenverein zu Pretoia has been a voluntary association to provide a home for German speaking senior citizens in and around Pretoria. The rose selected to celebrate their centenary is a typical long stemmed hybrid tea bearing pointed buds and blooms of a soft porcelain pink.
