Our Lady of Fatima Rose has been named to commemorate the Platinum celebrations of the School and to honor Sr Catherina – a long serving Dominican Sister at our School.

The subtle fragrance represents her quiet demeanor – ever present but never overbearing and the gentle colours were selected to represent what Sr Catherina loved – “The new life that each academic year brought and the beautiful South African sunrises over the Indian ocean.”

This dense hip high bush forms shapely, smallish buds of a deep apricot which intensifies to a more brilliant orange on the petal edges. These buds are borne in dense clusters on sturdy stems providing a most pleasing show with its non stop appearance of beautiful blooms over the long growing season.
