Young, rich orange red buds open to form chalice-shaped blooms, filled with loosely arranged petals. The salmon
pink upper side contrasts beautifully with the golden yellow reverse. The smallish blooms exude a pleasant
tea fragrance. A young plant quickly forms a small shrub with arching stems. It can be a pleasing free-standing
specimen but is also ideal for training up on low 1.5 metre high fences.
