Flowering from an early stage a neat dense shrub-like bush is formed reaching a height of about 2 meters producing hips after the petals have dropped. The blooms that appear all over the plant start with a pointed tight bud that slowly unfolds about 30 petals – each of a different colour combination. The white petal reverse already show the first signs of pinkish stripes and dots. As they keep on unfolding an artistic sprinkling of burgundy dots, stripes and splashes are revealed. These flowering stems are borne on slender stems with few prickles and they may be cut for home decoration. It will do well in large pots, as groups and even as a neat compact hedge.
