The name means ‘cheerfulness’.

The petals of the egg shaped, slightly pointed buds unfold slowly to hold the semi-open shape for a long time; the colour is an interesting play of apricot-pink with orange-red on the edges of the petals & salmon flowing towards the centre of the blooms.

The plant is bushy, strong & has dark green, leathery leaves.
