Filiae Regis

Named in celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the St Mary’s Diocesan School for Girls in Pretoria. The translation of the Latin ‘Filiae Regis’ is ‘Daughter of the King’.

The fresh pink of the pointed buds is enhanced with a touch of green. The petals turn gracefully outwards as they unfold until a petticoat like formation is reached with the full open blooms. A tone of soft coral in the depth of the blooms radiates warmth.

Good vigour is the assurance that plants of ‘Filiae Regis’ will grow in the shortest of time into neat bushes of chest height producing a multitude of long stemmed, long lasting blooms from spring into winter.

Tough, green foliage requires a minimum of maintenance. It is a rose that performs with ease in all climates in sunny positions.
