Bles Bridges sang about roses – red roses.

The bud unfolds its very firm petals slowly until it has reached perfection of a tight, high-pointed peak with the outer petals unfolded and neatly arranged. The crimson-red has a velvet sheen.

The plant is vigorous and floriferous and carries these superb cut-flowers on medium-long, wiry stems.
