The blend of yellow with a soft orange is pleasing to the eye and with closer inspection it is a fascinating mix of stripes and patches on both sides of the odd twenty broad petals which unfold from nicely pointed buds. The blooms appear in clusters with the terminal bud unfolding while three buds are in waiting. It grows into a dense bush at about hip height, supported by healthy green leaves providing a quick repeat, almost non-stop flowering.
