In 2022 the school celebrates a special jubilee, 50 years of matric at the DSP. The school is very close to our hearts as we were eductaed there and our children also attend. The shapely buds and opening blooms show off their bright red with a contrasting white to the underside of each petal. A relatively compact and broad growth habit provides space for a continuous supply of striking bi-coloured blooms all season long. This novel rose is ideal for border plantings, filling large beds and performs superbly when grown in pots. The rose will become an important part of the school’s Heritage. The unfolding petals symbolise the DSP as a place where trust, respect, safety and above all, growth, are lived.
