With this new ‘Pink Polo’ rose, may we bring colour and healing to those that grow the rose, may this rose serve the greater good of all, especially women facing the challenges of breast cancer.
The formidable strong pink bloom, is borne on tall, proud, strong stems, easily reaching shoulder to head height. The shape of this bloom is intriguing, starting as a classic hybrid tea and slowly opening to a side plate sized, quartered or four-hearted flower.
Large, mat-green leaves give ample strength to ‘Pink Polo’! And possibly add to that delicate rose fragrance, with a hint of fresh greens and earthy notes.
Grow ‘Pink Polo’ as a specimen rose or as a mass planting, who is generous with her stems to cut for the vase.
The rose ‘Pink Polo’, baptized and launched at the Pink Polo Event 2019, shall provide proceeds for CANSA Paarl on behalf of Val De Vie Events by Ludwig’s Roses.
