The flowering period in Namaqualand is spectacular but short. Planting a bed of Namaqualand in your garden will not only show off this particular colour festival of oranges, apricots, yellows and creams for most of the year, but also provide an endless supply of cut flowers for the home. The bush easily grows into a dense, upright, chest high specimen sprouting firm stems with medium sized shapely buds. As the very firm petals of the deep apricot buds unfurl, they display various shades of yellow to cream. The lush blend of copper and green disease resistant leaves are an attraction on their own.
