This super perfomer was in full bloom in August in Hillcrest, KZN and could not be overlooked. Indeed it does superbly well in that sometimes difficult “rose climate”. Obviously it is a maintenance free, ever flowering border plant everywhere. It does very well in pots too.
Glossy green foliage, impervious to disease, it is already an attraction before huge clusters are formed and cover the bush from base to tip never-endigly. If left to grow and flower unchecked, it easily forms a neat, dense flowering hedge up to hip height.; its extreme hardiness lends itself to regular trimming with hedge clippers to a desired shape and height.

Spring has finally arrived. September is when all the action happens. Roses are sprouting like crazy. The new redish shoots are growing so fast one can almost see them put on centimetres each day. Bud formation is happening all around and soon they will burst with colour!
